Blogging Marketing

I love blogging. Started since 4 years back, when i was still in my university year. I blog about everything that interest me, from music to technology, or poem and my life journey. Its just about the blog itself, i love putting something into words, even though , well, i am not really good on it.

Bloggers talk about other people blog, they read, they discuss and they comment on it. It’s a very powerful tool for engaging people on certain topic. And being in a corporate world now, i realize this has a very good potential in advertise on blogs and networking people.

In my daily working day, marketing is crucial. We need to market our product so that people is aware of our existence. We need to get in touch with a lot of people and make sure that they always ‘remember’ us. But daily working hour only 9am to 6pm, and there’s a lot of time of rejection, and people won’t always there to entertain us. With so many other task on hands, i only wish i can do a program in my computer to everyday replacing me to greet our potential clients, telling them what’s our new products and promotion, and stuffs.

And just recently, i was introduced by a friend about the power of blogging, how we can optimize our blog to become the tool for our business. It’s like a the program that i always wanted to replace me on engaging people on our business. And indeed it does.
We give a very impressive review about our product in blog, and drive people to read it. A simple and straightforward marketing, where you don’t have to physically sit down with these potential client , waiting for their right time to get an appointment and hundreds time rejected. Plus with the financial crisis, we would love to save every single drop of our car fuel.

Words can be the most powerful weapon. Write your blog in the most fascinating ways, place the advertisement in suitable location, and business will flood you. Blog is not just a journal, but a platform for everything you need. And it’s not just about local market but worldwide market, sky is the limit.

Keep your blog short and simple, straight to the point and captivating. People will get bored when reading long review. Make it average 250-350 words will be enough to fascinate people. And most of all, use the right keyword for your blog title, because google will use the keyword and phrase to place the blog into search result. If Google cannot find our blog, it’s just a waste of a beautifully created blog.

So, if you love blogging, take advantage from it. As the saying goes, killing two birds with one stone. Happy blogging!

Touching Video : Chicken Ala Carte

Chicken Ala Carte..That’s the title for this very touching short video, done by a Ferdinand Dimadura.

It was really touching and it shows us the meaning of appreciation. Do we appreciate the things or people we have around us.. Do we appreciate the family, the blessing or the surrounding that keeps us smiling.

I was about to blog about my hectic working day, how i hate my days and all…but having watched this, well…i am very grateful for what i have now..I cant imagine having to live like those children, and some dying in hunger..

It will never enough. When we have something, we will tend to wanting more and more…Thus, we forget to stop and appreciate everything that had been blessed for us…

Recycling used phone batteries

Thousands of old cellular phones are replaced with newer models. The old ones are then placed in boxes and never used again. That’s too bad, because phones are useful, and the batteries contain toxic material. They should be recycled.

Why do we need to recycle our phone batteries?

Well, mobile phone batteries contain toxic materials such as lithium, cadmium, nickel, lead and hydrate metals that could pollute the earth if not disposed of properly. These batteries cannot be disposed of by throwing them together with your household rubbish, as chemicals can seep into the rivers and eventually into our rivers and oceans. By recycling your used cell phone batteries, you are helping to create a cleaner and safer environment.

Furthermore, toxic waste cannot be incinerated.

Please be kind to the environment and not throw your batteries in the trash. The environmental protection agency (EPA) in America estimates that 200 tons of cadmium and 260,000 tonnes of lead enter the waste stream annually. We’re sure that quite a large percentage comes from batteries.

Which batteries are recyclable?

Not all cell phone batteries are recyclable. The following rechargeable battery chemistries can be recycled – Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium Ion (Li-ion), and Small Sealed Lead (Pb). Look for the Battery Recycling Seal on the battery.

Who is involved in the battery recycling campaign in Malaysia?

Right now, there are a few companies in Malaysia that is doing their best to help promote the recycling of phone batteries. Private mobile phone companies have placed special transparent bins on their premises. The Department of Environment in all states will also place the special bins at public places such as shopping complexes to encourage the public to recycle their old batteries.

Alam Flora Sdn. Bhd. and Kualiti Alam Sdn. Bhd would then collect these batteries. They are sent to Korea, Taiwan and France for recycling, as Malaysia currently does not have the technology to recycle batteries.

When I say… “I am a Christian”

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I’m not shouting “I’m clean livin’.”
I’m whispering “I was lost,
Now I’m found and forgiven.”

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I don’t speak of this with pride.
I’m confessing that I stumble
and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I’m not trying to be strong.
I’m professing that I’m weak
And need His strength to carry on.

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I’m not bragging of success.
I’m admitting I have failed
And need God to clean my mess.

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I’m not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
But, God believes I am worth it.

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I’m not holier than thou,
I’m just a simple sinner
Who received God’s good grace, somehow!

A simple thought..

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring…

It is not as big as boasting words or fake beautiful smiles, but it can make a big difference in one’s life..

Lazy weekend…am doing my research on our advertising network, which i really have no perfect idea on how to improve our advertising content. So much to learn so much to research. I feel like want to know everything at once, so i can complete my work quickly..

Jotted down some main idea, but, to present it in fantastic way to my boss will be a challenge. Like, how would you describe an ugly hut as a beautiful palace? hmmm…

Keep It short and simple news.

Tons of work, lesser time everyday, frustrations, it maybe a good summary of hectic life.
It prevents us from being updated with what’s going on around us. No time for papers, for news in TV or even the so many news in internet. All we need is to spare whatever time we can to get some rest or enjoying it with our love one.

If only we can hire an assistant who can summarize everything to us, it would be a bless!Imagine everything from business news, health news or even entertainment updates being served to us everyday.

All we need is a short and straight presentation of the news. we need to know the content as quick as possible and understand it. I found this very nice blog about everything related to news, and it is written in a very short and simple yet fantastic way. Anything i need to know, especially about high tech news, i could easily find them here. Worth reading guys!
