Day off just to clean the house

What a day!

I am taking a day off just to clean the house! yea…you got it right! My house is a mess! And it makes me so very uncomfortable and feel sick! This weekend i will go tioman for a weekend gateway, and i really hate it when i come back from beautiful holiday just to see a house full of mess..

but yea, its just a day off but with still lots of calls from my clients asking this, complain this wanting that! Argh, and my cleaning project always interrupted with emails, phone calls and online support! Here i am, almost 6, waiting for the wet floor to dry and i will start with the kitchen.The stove so dirty with oil everywhere, the floor so very sticky i cant even dare to go in without slipper and ..ah…i don’t have to describe all here…

 Its a never ending task when im at home. So much things to clean, to arrange to wash. I even cannot realize the hours i spend doing it. And i wish i could have 1 week day off just to complete my cleaning projects.

Oh and i just realize the IKEA table i bought only few months back, its already have some dirty black scratches..eww…Hmm look like IKEA brand not that fantastic anyway..Easily scratched and …No offend IKEA :)…

So okay, look like i have to start doing the kitchen! God give me strength!

A guide for buying laptop

I need new laptop! He he i haven’t decide on which laptop should i buy, still considering lots of things especially the COST 🙁 .. of course there’s some cheap laptops out there, but they didn’t meet my specification..Well its quite (or should i say VERY) expensive, so i really should consider everything..Oh i remember when i was a child, i always love to check on one  Kids Toys store and wish i could get one of the toys for Christmas..And yea, that’s how i feel about the laptop now ..He he he :P..

Eh, okay, let me share some things one should consider before buying laptop..Hopefully this can help someone 🙂

First, you need to decide and define the purpose of your laptop.If you use it for simple office tasks and browsing the Internet or sending e-mails, than a mid-range laptop may be good enough:

  1. Define your budget
  2. Define screen size notebook (13″ or 15″ or 17″)
  3. Define your tasks such as Internet, sys admin, software development, some gaming using Win Vista / 7, dual booting etc.
  4. How many hours of battery life do you need?
  5. Define optical media types – Do you want to watch movies using DVD or Blu ray? Do you want to burn DVDs?
  6. To play games you need a top spec laptop. Please note that Linux has limited support for popular PC gaming titles. So you need to dual boot your laptop with MS-Windows operating systems.
  7. Finally, some people prefer desktop replacements with mobile workstations.

..and for me the RAM is very important..

RAM, or random access memory, is the short-term memory in your computer that Windows uses to run all its applications. When you turn off your computer, the RAM is emptied. RAM is separate from your hard drive, which is the long-term memory for storing your files. Two major types, DDR and DDR2, and both of these come in a number of speeds.

Yea, i did some research on all this, and personally i actually think that its cool to give it as Educational kids toys he he …

Choose the right RAM speed for your computer. if it run faster that the computer can handle, automatically it will set to run slower. DDR is an older standard common in computers dating from 2000-2002, while DDR2 is newer and easier to find.

Ask and you will receive

Not saying that I want everything in life, but I want certain thing goes well in my life. I do agree that life won’t always treat us good, pampers us with all beautiful things or present us everything we want. No. Life is hard.

Working in big city had taught me million of things, and I grew up with all of it.  I learn how to be determine to achieve something, I learn how to work hundreds times than others to prove my capabilities. I am used with so many not-my-job or  i-am-not-paid-for-that  task that I have to do. Life is tough tho! (I always wanted a Disney World package for my birthday, but no one granted my dream just yet..yea life it tough! :P)

I remember one story about the cleark at armour’s, Charles MacDowell.  He was just a clerk at Armour Company, but he knew how to step out from the heard!  He later become the president of the company, and how does he do that!

Mr Armour  asked his secretary to make him up a secret tehegraphic code for use on a trip he was about to make to Europe. The secretary is a man who doesn’t  believe in doing more that he was paid to do- so he passed the job to MacDowell.

MacDowell didn’t just make up a code. He prepared a small booklet that could be carried in Mr Armour’s pocket. He had the booklet neatly bound and printed.

Mr Amour impressed with it and MacDowell sent in. He was asked why he did all those thing, and he simply says, it make Mr Amour convenient during the journey. He was soon appointed as the Director of the company!

My point is, we don’t expect to be noticed every time, and sometimes we need to do a little sacrifice, and do some research even on small little task.  Well, no one walk in success without first having through so many hard times in life, ain’t they?
And yes, that’s what I am going to do. Leaving my happy life in the big city and move back to my lovely land.  City life is so fantastic, but where would all that bring me to? Taking a deep breath, and I let all go. Starting to work on my plan at my lovely land, soon, I will have  my Vacation package to Disney World ! He he he..

God had been very nice to me, and He knows I had tried my best on everything. I know, with my determination, with hard work and with faith on Him, I will achieve my dream, before I hit my 30th birthday!

9 ”So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
    11 ”Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

The Urumi

Anyone know what is URUMI? hehe..i just found out myself!  Ok..this is also known as “chuttuval,” which means “coiled sword,” this flexible weapon is used in the South Indian Martial Art of Kalaripayatt.

 The blades  is flexible enough to be rolled up and stored when not used, or even worn as a belt and whipped out on demand. Hmm a great start for self defense, great to learn!..hehe…

Agility and skill are more important to a mastery of the weapon than strength or aggression. Twirling and controlling the urumi is a difficult and dangerous art, and is therefore taught only to the best pupils of the Kalari. Incorrect use can result in the flexible sword wounding its wielder, and great concentration is required during use, even by experts.

Hmm maybe i need to find some Guru for this, awesome bah! I’m really interested..heheh
Here is a video on how to use..oh kids dont try this at home!

Coat Of Many Colors

A very sweet song..And touching…

Back through the years
I go wonderin once again
Back to the seasons of my youth
I recall a box of rags that someone gave us
And how my momma put the rags to use
There were rags of many colors
Every piece was small
And I didn’t have a coat
And it was way down in the fall
Momma sewed the rags together
Sewin every piece with love
She made my coat of many colors
That I was so proud of
As she sewed, she told a story
From the bible, she had read
About a coat of many colors
Joseph wore and then she said
Perhaps this coat will bring you
Good luck and happiness
And I just couldnt wait to wear it
And momma blessed it with a kiss

My coat of many colors
That my momma made for me
Made only from rags
But I wore it so proudly
Although we had no money
I was rich as I could be
In my coat of many colors
My momma made for me
So with patches on my britches
Holes in both my shoes
In my coat of many colors
I hurried off to school
Just to find the others laughing
And making fun of me
In my coat of many colors
My momma made for me
And oh I couldnt understand it
For I felt I was rich
And I told them of the love
My momma sewed in every stitch
And I told em all the story
Momma told me while she sewed
And how my coat of many colors
Was worth more than all their clothes
But they didn’t understand it
And I tried to make them see
That one is only poor
Only if they choose to be
Now I know we had no money
But I was rich as I could be
In my coat of many colors
My momma made for me
Made just for me

It somehow remind me on something…

Years and years back, when i was in my gorgeous secondary school, someone sang me this song, and i fell in love with it…

When I look into your eyes
I can see a love restrained
But darlin’ when I hold you
Don’t you know I feel the same
‘Cause nothin’ lasts forever
And we both know hearts can change
And it’s hard to hold a candle
In the cold November rain
We’ve been through this such a long long time
Just tryin’ to kill the pain
But lovers always come and lovers always go
An no one’s really sure who’s lettin’ go today
Walking away
If we could take the time to lay it on the line
I could rest my head
Just knowin’ that you were mine
All mine
So if you want to love me
then darlin’ don’t refrain
Or I’ll just end up walkin’
In the cold November rain

And i still in love with the song..purely created..beautifully chanted…and sincerely delivered…Ah..sometimes song remind us with past, good or bad…Music is amazing 🙂

7 Things to Stop Doing Now on Facebook

Well people, facebook is facebook…where we socializing with our friends, families and even strangers..But we need to know some important things that could maybe save our life…

Using a Weak Password
Avoid simple names or words you can find in a dictionary, even with numbers tacked on the end. Instead, mix upper- and lower-case letters, numbers, and symbols. A password should have at least eight characters. One good technique is to insert numbers or symbols in the middle of a word, such as this variant on the word “houses”: hO27usEs!

Leaving Your Full Birth Date in Your Profile
It’s an ideal target for identity thieves, who could use it to obtain more information about you and potentially gain access to your bank or credit card account. If you’ve already entered a birth date, go to your profile page and click on the Info tab, then on Edit Information. Under the Basic Information section, choose to show only the month and day or no birthday at all.

Overlooking Useful Privacy Controls
For almost everything in your Facebook profile, you can limit access to only your friends, friends of friends, or yourself. Restrict access to photos, birth date, religious views, and family information, among other things. You can give only certain people or groups access to items such as photos, or block particular people from seeing them. Consider leaving out contact info, such as phone number and address, since you probably don’t want anyone to have access to that information anyway.

Posting Your Child’s Name in a Caption
Don’t use a child’s name in photo tags or captions. If someone else does, delete it by clicking on Remove Tag. If your child isn’t on Facebook and someone includes his or her name in a caption, ask that person to remove the name.

Mentioning That You’ll Be Away From Home
That’s like putting a “no one’s home” sign on your door. Wait until you get home to tell everyone how awesome your vacation was and be vague about the date of any trip.

Letting Search Engines Find You
To help prevent strangers from accessing your page, go to the Search section of Facebook’s privacy controls and select Only Friends for Facebook search results. Be sure the box for public search results isn’t checked.

Permitting Youngsters to Use Facebook Unsupervised
Facebook limits its members to ages 13 and over, but children younger than that do use it. If you have a young child or teenager on Facebook, the best way to provide oversight is to become one of their online friends. Use your e-mail address as the contact for their account so that you receive their notifications and monitor their activities. “What they think is nothing can actually be pretty serious,” says Charles Pavelites, a supervisory special agent at the Internet Crime Complaint Center. For example, a child who posts the comment “Mom will be home soon, I need to do the dishes” every day at the same time is revealing too much about the parents’ regular comings and goings.

Similarities between Cats and Women

I read this somewhere..and its funny…:D

Cats do what they want;
They rarely listen to you;
They’re totally unpredictable;
They whine when they are not happy;
When you want to play, they want to be alone;
When you want to be alone, they want to play;
They expect you to cater to their every whim;
They’re moody;
They leave hair everywhere;
They drive you nuts and cost an arm and a leg;
Will annoy you incessantly when they want attention;
Will always bother you when you are about to fall asleep;
Try to hide the fact they poop.
